Improvement in the county will only be realized when the leaders are responsible, responsive and above reproach in terms of its ethics and efficiencies. Public conversation on critical issues and viable solutions that "most importantly reflect the views and wishes of residents of Calvert County rather than only special interests."
It's important not to let go of programs that help maintain the fiber of the community, and not set adrift those needing county support. We must foster relationships with Faith-based, non-profit and civic organizations, and work collaboratively to increase the benefits for the community.
There must be accountability and transparency in government.
